Where is this going? Oh, yeah, I know: This is the title of my blog. It is a blog about the many ways that I, and my friends, use JavaScript. We talk about how JavaScript is used in front-end applications, how it powers the browser, and how it powers JavaScript libraries. I also talk a lot about why you should use JavaScript in your projects and how to stay on top of any changes to the framework.

One of the many things that has been changing rapidly in the last few years is JavaScript’s embrace for web-browsers. People like myself talk a lot about how JavaScript is an important way to deliver interactive content to a browser. With this in mind, I wanted to talk about one of the most important JavaScript libraries ever created: jQuery. Yes, this is a thing. Seriously. I’ve been using the library for years because it’s incredibly powerful (and easy to use).

Now that I’ve talked about it you’re probably asking how this all got so big that it’s become such a huge part of my life. jQuery is not the only framework that I use, and some of the others I use on my sites are way more important than jQuery. I believe jQuery to be the most important thing to an HTML5 developer. (And to my knowledge, the first and only one.
