I had been overweight for a long time. I was very active, and was eating healthy. I was trying to lose weight by just changing my eating habits. I had been on Weight Watchers for awhile before I decided to try to lose weight on my own.

I am very lucky to have lost more weight than I did in the last 12 months, but I don’t want to talk about how I lost it (and how I have lost more weight now that I’m older – it’s not a fun subject to discuss). I am a woman that works out a lot in the gym. I do a lot of cardio, I do a lot of weight training and I do a lot of strength training.

People tend to get the impression that I do these things because I want to, but I also do them for the sake of health, not because they are fun. For that reason, I was always a bit envious of my friends who are getting out of the weight room, and this new routine that I have found for myself is something I have really been looking for for a while. I am so glad I finally got around to trying it.
