This is a very interesting study in which people treated with ketamine have a significantly greater ability to perform on a working memory task.
The researchers suggested that this might be because ketamine is a “rewardingly potent activator of NMDA receptors, which are the primary neurotransmitters underlying the cognitive processes involved in working memory.” So it’s possible that this might be responsible for the increased working memory capacity.
I didn’t know this, but ketamine is actually a partial alpha-agonist, so it might work more as a partial agonist. But it is a partial agonist in that it doesn’t actually increase the amount of dopamine released.
So if these changes in memory are partly a side effect of ketamine, it seems like it might be a good candidate for the reason of increased working memory. But this is only one possible cause of the increased working memory capacity, and more research is needed to determine what the specific mechanism is.
I wish we could stop talking about schizophrenia and start talking about ketamine. I’m going to go ahead and assume that we’re talking about the same thing here. But there are a whole lot of things wrong with schizophrenia. One of the most common problems is a loss of executive function. If you’ve ever tried to use your computer, it’s probably not a good idea to take a tablet and do any work.
This is a tricky one, because while there is a high probability that a person with schizophrenia will have trouble multitasking, there is also a high probability that they will be able to do it. In other words, if I were to suggest that while you should absolutely be taking a tablet with you, you should also be able to switch to a keyboard while at the same time doing a bunch of work, then nobody would agree with you. You’d be in a whole lot of trouble.
If you want to look at some of the mental health issues that have brought some people to suicide, they are all mental illnesses and many of them have a very similar set of symptoms. At least, that’s what I’ve found.
For example, schizophrenic disorder causes hallucinations and delusions. This means that in order to understand what you are seeing, you are forced to take on the perspective of someone else that you have no control over. If you are a good enough person, you can make up your own mind, but if you are not, you have to accept that the world doesn’t care what you are thinking or doing.
Well, you might think that’s an odd thing to say, but I’m not sure it’s that odd. Sometimes I find myself thinking that I’m in a place that I can’t get out of, but it’s not really as bad as it could be. I think it is because I’m not really in a place that I can’t get out of. In fact, it’s a place that I can’t get out of because there is no place to get out of.
Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that causes people to act strangely. It is also a very real problem, and unfortunately, for many people its also a condition that can be treated. However, this doesnt really make sense, because, in most cases, the people in schizophrenia arent abnormal. They are just different. They are just a person with a different way of thinking, a different way of perceiving reality, a different relationship with their surroundings, and a different set of behaviors.
