Well, I can’t say that as a person who paints their houses. But let’s face it, it’s a mistake to use pink on the exterior walls. So here’s a quick tutorial on how to change your home’s exterior paint color to a more natural shade. It’s more difficult than you’d think and may require some DIY work, but it’s sure to save a lot of headache.

While changing your exterior color to a more natural shade could be a fun DIY project, I think the real challenge is keeping your paint as smooth as possible. Pink paint is so much easier to work with, but it is harder to maintain. Youll need a good sump pump or a sponge to keep your paint from chipping.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to paint inside my house as well. It just happens to be the biggest culprit for peeling paint and chipping. So, as with exterior painting, it’s always good to keep your paint as smooth as possible. However, once you start painting in a new color, it is very difficult to keep the texture of the paint nice. The best thing to do is to use a sump pump and a sponge to keep your paint from slipping.

One of the easiest things to do is to use a sump pump to “clean” the paint off your brush. The sump pump pushes the paint fluid up inside the brush, making it easier for you to apply the paint with ease. You can also use a sponge to spread the paint on your brush.
