I can’t think of a more appropriate term for this than “numbers to the power of.” In other words, if you are going to multiply a four-digit number, you want to multiply it by the number of times the number to the power of four is. And if you are going to multiply a six-digit number, you want to multiply it by the number of times the number to the power of six is.
