The Key Identifier is a number that gets assigned to each document or file you create on your computer. As your documents are created and saved, the Key Identifier increases. This is used by the operating system to identify the file.

Essentially, the Key Identifier is a unique number you assign to each document. For example, if you create a document called “MyFavorites” and the Key Identifier is 24, then the document is assigned that number. If you create a document called “MyFavorites” and the Key Identifier is 23, it won’t be assigned that number.

You can assign a Key Identifier to any file that you create. It can be used to keep track of files you’ve worked on. For example, if you go to your PC and create an Excel document and you’re happy with it, you can assign a Key Identifier of 23 to it, then you can use the document when you need it.

MyFavorites comes with a Key Identifier, but you can also use it to track your own documents.

The Key identifier only works on a file that you create, and not on one that you have opened. If you go to File–>Options.–Key Identifier, or if you go to Options–File–>Key Identifier, you can use these to assign your own Key Identifier.

This is an example of the type of thing that the Key Identifier is good for. It allows you to track a file that you own, but it doesn’t track files that you open or even that you create. When I open my Dropbox file from my PC, I can assign it the Key Identifier. Then when I go to my File–gtOptions.

Like the Key Identifier, the Key Identifier is great for tracking things in general. It allows you to see who opened your files, who opened a file that you own, and even who opened a file that you created.

The problem with the Key Identifier is that it is only available to Google, Yahoo, and AOL. That would be fine if you knew that you owned the file, but you dont. You can use it for a number of other purposes, but you can only use it for those three services. The Key Identifier doesnt work for Google Docs, DocsX, Drive, SkyDrive, and the like, because those services dont offer the Key Identifier.

If you can’t get the Key Identifier, then you are restricted to using your own key to search those sites, and Google, Yandex, and AOL will not find your file.
