For a while I felt like something had gone terribly wrong with me. I was a bit of a control freak. I did things just because they felt right. I had an intense feeling that everything in my life was in some way connected to something I had no control over. I was starting to feel that it might be time to start trying to figure out what was going wrong.

Sometimes we don’t realize the things we are feeling until we are very close to the worst possible moment. We feel it, but it’s too late to change it. In the middle of a hard day I’ll wake up and feel just fine, but when I try to change my mind, I get stopped in my tracks by a deep, dark pit of fear. And then I start to feel terrible.

We can feel this way on some level. Sometimes our actions shape us, regardless of how much we want to believe otherwise. It’s hard to tell whether you are making a mistake or not. When you do something wrong, sometimes you feel you are not good enough to be doing something right. When you feel like you are not good enough, it makes you feel like you are worthless.

We can feel this way in some cases, but we can also feel this way for a variety of reasons. Some people have a hard time changing their minds, others don’t. Most of us have a hard time believing that we are wrong, even when we are. And we like to believe in a “good enough” kind of way.

If you are not good enough to be on your high school football team, don’t feel sorry about it. Just continue to play. If you are not good enough to do your taxes, don’t feel sorry about it. Just file your taxes.

It’s a good thing for people who feel bad about themselves to do something about it. If you say you are not good enough, but continue to do what you are doing, you will find yourself better than you were before. This is the basic principle behind most of the best things in life.

If you are not good enough to be in your church, you should stop doing so. This is not just a philosophy, it is a law of nature. You will always have others who are not good enough, and your own efforts will fail. This is not a bad thing.
