There are days when the world feels like it is going to fall apart or I am feeling depressed. Sometimes I can’t even begin to comprehend what is going on. But if I stop and think about it, I can see the problem and help it become a tiny bit better.
I am not sure if I am going to feel better in time. I get a headache and feel sad for a little bit, and then I feel better, but it is hard to tell when I am feeling well. I feel like I am going to throw up sometimes, but I don’t because I am not feeling sick.
Like most depressed people and most depressed humans, you feel a little queasy. You feel lightheaded, your stomach is turning over, you feel a little bit like you are going to pass out, or vomit, or something. In fact, it is so common that depression is one of the most common diagnoses for primary care professionals. Even though you are not feeling good, you are definitely trying to find something to blame.
Well, this is one of those times. I am not feeling so great that I had to throw up, but I am feeling sick. Like I have the beginnings of chills, or a headache, or a sore throat, or something. But I am not feeling very well.
I believe you’re going to either feel better soon or you’re going to get sick. Or both. It depends on how much caffeine you have taken. If you have a caffeine tolerance, it is very likely that you will be feeling better soon. If you have not taken caffeine, you may not feel well for a few days.
I recently noticed that it was pretty hard to get me to drink my coffee. I am the type that would drink a gallon of coffee, then go get a bite to eat. This week, I am not so eager to eat. My husband is already getting up at 5 AM to go grocery shopping for the week. He is just not in a good mood at all. He seems to be constantly fuming, and I just feel like I am the only one who sees this.
It happens to the best of us in many ways. As I write this, my husband has just been reading his email. He has had a stomach bug for the last week. He told me he feels like he is running on fumes and has to take a couple of days off of work. I am not sure what to do.
This is understandable, we understand it all too well. You are already feeling pretty ill. I recommend checking in with a doctor. A doctor can help you regain your appetite or it can help to put you back on track. I would recommend eating some more. Or at least, maybe you should try to. Maybe you should try to take a week off. I don’t know, but I think it would help.
I think we can all agree that when you feel like you are going to blow up, you better do something about it. I remember doing this with my friend John in the summer of 2006. After a long day of fighting with the IRS and the police, I just wanted to sleep. I felt like I had nothing left to give. I even went back to the doctor and asked him if I could work part-time for him.
To be honest, I have been feeling a lot like I have been feeling lately. I am still working full-time at my day job. This is a great feeling, because I get to go to bed early and wake up early. I am not a morning person, and I find myself waking up a little bit earlier each day. But I get to stay up later each night, too. I have also been feeling a lot more stress lately.
